Is there something wrong with my credit card for purchasing apts?

I am unable to make purchases on my Apple i pad mini

Hi
Go to itunes main page bottom of page apple ID click on that go to view ID
Go to payments check your credit card make sure the 3 digit number on the back of card
Is correct.
